Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By accessing blog.encryptinvoice.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the blog.

2. The blog

The blog is published by Soatdev IT Consulting SRL (see Legal notice). It is a public marketing and educational surface for the EncryptInvoice product (https://app.encryptinvoice.com). Use of the EncryptInvoice application itself is governed by its own terms, not these.

3. Content licence

Original articles published on this blog are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC-BY-4.0):

You are free to share and adapt the material for any purpose, even commercially, provided that you give appropriate credit, link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests we endorse you or your use.

Exclusions

The following are not covered by the licence:

  • the EncryptInvoice brand, the EncryptInvoice and Soatdev wordmarks, logos, and product screenshots, which remain the property of their respective owners;
  • third-party content (quotations, embedded media, citations), which is governed by its own licence;
  • code snippets and configuration examples, which are released under the MIT licence unless otherwise stated.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the blog or any extracted content to defame, harass, or mislead third parties;
  • imply our endorsement of products or services we did not endorse;
  • republish content that we have explicitly withdrawn;
  • circumvent technical measures protecting the blog's infrastructure.

We may, at our discretion and without notice, restrict access from IP addresses or networks engaged in abusive scraping, denial-of-service activity, or other automated misuse.

5. Automated access and language-model training

Use of blog content for training large language models is permitted under the CC-BY-4.0 licence provided attribution is preserved in any derivative output that quotes the article substantially. Crawlers must respect robots.txt and must not overload our infrastructure; any access that violates section 4 is not authorized regardless of licence terms.

6. Accuracy and warranties

The blog is published in good faith for general information purposes. Nothing on the blog constitutes legal, tax, or professional advice. Soatdev IT Consulting SRL makes no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose of any content. You should obtain qualified professional advice before acting on anything you read here.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, Soatdev IT Consulting SRL shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the blog. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death, personal injury) or any mandatory consumer-protection rights.

8. External links

The blog may link to third-party websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of such sites.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected with a new "last updated" date.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any dispute relating to the blog or these terms falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Belgium, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the visitor's place of habitual residence.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in force.
